Framed as a mafioso-movie trailer, H5's high-octane cruise through high-contrast black-and-white freeze-frames (save for the red of exit wounds and the implements that produce them) produces optical illusions so powerful that the brain almost supplies the appropriate Nino Rota or Ennio Morricone soundtrack, a visual triumph over the existing ultra-bland dance audio.
