Now even a 16-hour flight to Tokyo is no excuse to stop writing your screenplay or editing your movie. Electrovaya's PowerPad 160 will extend your computer's run time by up to 16 hours. Encased in rugged titanium, the ultra-slim battery is about as tall and wide as the average laptop but less than an inch thick. It's light (2.4 lbs), too, which makes it easy to tote along in a carry-on bag. Using your portable computer's AC adapter, the PowerPad 160 can recharge in about four hours. The less expensive PowerPad 120 ($399) lasts about 12 hours.
