Warcraft III ups the multi-tasking ante established by gamemaker Blizzard (Diablo II, StarCraft) and comes correct with detailed textured graphics, improved group combat control and surprising plot lines furthered by slick animated segues. Continuing the Orc versus Human conflict of the previous Warcraft outings, III introduces two new player races: the Undead Scourge and Night Elves. Central heroes that advance with experience also add nuance to the epic storyline. And, as with other Blizzard games, those gamers seeking challenges beyond the included campaigns can log on to Battle.net and go head to head with other would-be warlords.
