RES Screening (February 28, 2005)

Our February 28th screening will feature the presentation of the RESFEST 2004 Audience Choice Awards for Best Short Film (Peter Cornwell's Ward 13) and Best Music Video (Michel Gondry's "Walkie Talkie Man"). We will also screen select audience favorites from RESFEST international events, including Japan and Canada. The evening will include brand new works from Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite), Olivier Gondry and Airside, plus new music videos such as Shynola's latest for Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Lemon Jelly, the Postal Service and more! Meet the filmmakers and join us for a drink at the reception with special guest DJs. Bonus action: First 100 audience members get a free pair of Converse shoes!

A NOTE ON THE FUTURE OF RES

RES magazine's milestone RESFEST tenth anniversary issue will be the last issue published in 2006. We plan to launch a new hybrid RES publication in 2007, one that will transform this site into a dynamic, daily online destination, while fully integrating all of our content across the multiple platforms of print, Web, DVD and events.
